The beginning of a new tournament season saw the return of a unique event. Last held in 2020 at RTJ Golf Trail at Oxmoor Valley, the Par-3 Shootout is an exciting way to start the year. This time, the Par-3 Shootout was held at a different RTJ Golf Trail location at Grand National Short Course in Opelika, Alabama.

The Alabama – NW Florida Golf Foundation hosted its Foundation Classic at the Country Club of Birmingham on November 13, 2023. The Foundation Classic was established to become the marquee fundraising event for the 501(c)(3) of the Alabama – NW Florida PGA Section to benefit the programming and outreach the foundation provides for communities across the region.
