Let’s Go Play!

The Alabama – NW Florida PGA is committed to engaging the next generation of golfers.  The Section conducts various junior golf events across Alabama and the Florida Panhandle through three different programs.  These programs are centered around developing talent in our Section and allow juniors and parents to be exposed to all facets the game has to offer.  When summertime rolls around we use the motto “Let’s Go Play,” meaning we don’t care where, who or how — we’re all about playing the game we love and we know there is no better way to share that love than with a simple invitation.

The JGA tour is open to all girls and boys ages 6-18 that reside in Alabama or the Florida Panhandle (west of Apalachicola) and have an active GHIN number through the Alabama Golf Association or the Florida State Golf Association.

Our Scholarship Program

We all have dreams which are near and dear to us – some of them bigger than others. In 2020, we established a Scholarship Program centered around the junior golfers all across our Section. The Junior Tour Scholarship is annually awarded to a deserving high school graduate or current college student who has previously played on our Section Junior Tour.

We believe these dreams that we hold on to are worth pursuing, no matter what they are – this is what our Scholarship Program was built on. We want to help you fulfill those dreams and live out your purpose.
