For starters, it’s designed to be inclusive of all ages and skill levels.
PGA Family Golf teams consist of 2-6 players, with at least 1 adult and 1 junior.
Everyone plays, and everyone contributes. The recommended PGA Family Golf format is a team scramble, but facilities have flexibility to adjust the format as needed.
PGA and LPGA Professionals exclusively lead PGA Family Golf events.
Teams can be comprised of 2-6 players, including at least one adult and one junior (defined as a child 17 years of age or younger on the date of the event or the date of the last event in a series who has a relationship with the adult(s) on the team). At the local level, coaches have full flexibility on team composition and are encouraged to create family-friendly formats that work for them and their golfers.
PGA Family Golf is all about the team experience. Two things should hold true at each and every PGA Family Golf experience:
• Teams are inclusive of all family members, regardless of age or skill level.
• Team sizes may vary between 2-6 players, however, we recommend confirming all details with your host PGA or LPGA Professional.
