PGA Jr. League Alabama – NW Florida Section Championship Set for July 27th at Pine Tree Golf & Country Club

The PGA Jr. League Alabama – NW Florida Section Championship will bring together 13u (players ages 10–13) and 17u (players ages 14–17) All-Star teams for an exciting day of competition at Pine Tree Golf & Country Club in Birmingham on July 27th. 

PGA Jr. League brings kids ages 17 and under together to learn and play golf on co-ed teams with expert coaching from PGA of America Golf Professionals and LPGA Golf Professionals. Following recreational play in the spring and summer, hundreds of 13u and 17u All-Star teams compete in the PGA Jr. League All-Star Season, which spans May through November and includes All-Star Play Days, Sectionals, Regionals, and Championships.

The Alabama – NW Florida Section Championship at Pine Tree Golf & Country Club will feature two-person scramble action on the back nine, teeing off with the 17u division in the early morning followed by the 13u division. Teams will compete in hopes of representing the Section at the Regional competition, hosted October 2nd through 4th at Sunkist Country Club in Biloxi, Mississippi, alongside top teams from the Gulf States, North Florida, and South Florida Sections. Twelve Regional Champions from each age division will advance to their respective National Championship.

The 13u Regional Champions will vie for the title at the 13u PGA Jr. League Championship, which returns for the fourth time to PGA Frisco’s Fields Ranch West Golf Course on November 11–15, 2026. The 17u Regional Champions will compete in the 17u PGA Jr. League Championship on October 22–25, 2026, returning to Twin Warriors Golf Club in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico.
