Greer Takes First Stroke Play
Our first Stroke Play Series event of the year was held at NorthRiver Yacht Club in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Storms moving across the state throughout the day delayed play in the morning, but the sun shone as the tournament came to an end.
This was the first of six tournaments with players competing for an additional purse based on point totals for the six events.
Jake Greer’s 3-under-par 68 was the low score of the day as he sank six birdies. Dominic Diaz was the only other player to finish under par, shooting 2-under-par 69.
There was a three-way tie for third place with Allen Burnett, Jeff Jordan, and Brennan Dolnick all finishing at even par.
