Goodwin Wins Second Stroke Play
Our second Stroke Play Series event of the year was held at The Ledges in Huntsville, Alabama. It was a great day on top of Huntsville’s highest mountain.
This was the second of six tournaments with players competing for an additional purse based on point totals for the six events.
Carter Goodwin’s 4-under-par 67 was the low score of the day as he sank seven birdies, three of which came on his final three holes. Kevan Maxwell finished in a close second, shooting 3-under-par 68.
There was a three-way tie for third place with Jake Greer, Jordan DeBonis, and Christian Bosso all finishing 2-under par.
Luke Wilson, Patrick Richardson, Brad Story, and Cole Henry finished even par to tie for sixth place.
