DeBonis Takes Third Stroke Play
Our third Stroke Play Series event of the year was held at Hoover Country Club. It was a great day for golf!
This was the third of six tournaments with players competing for an additional purse based on point totals for the six events.
Jordan DeBonis’ 6-under-par 66 was the low score of the day as he sank seven birdies. Cole Henry, Frantiska Lunackova, and Christian Bosso tied for second at 2-under-par 70
There was a four-way tie for fifth place with Carter Goodwin, Neil Thompson, Tim Schroyer, and Allen Michael Burnett all finishing even par.
The top eight finishers and the winner of the closest to the pin on the 12th hole also received a new pair of sunglasses courtesy of Maui Jim.
