Watersound, FL (May 21, 2019) — The Club Car / Jerry Pate Company Stroke Play No. 3 was held at Camp Creek Golf Club.  Even in perfect conditions, it still proved to be a strong challenge for the players. Todd Bailey, PGA Associate at Rock Creek Golf Club, was the only player to break par and claimed the victory. Bailey’s round of 71 included two birdies and an eagle on the par-5 eighth hole.

Bailey edged out Camp Creek’s Teaching Professional, David Hanson, and Mountain Brook Club’s Director of Golf, Jeff Jordan, by one shot.  Jordan’s round featured two birdies offset by two bogeys, while Hanson eagled the par-5 third hole to go along with two birdies.

PGA Associate at Shoal Creek, Clay Brown, finished in fourth place with a round of 73.  Neil Thompson and Jake Greer tied for fifth place with rounds of 74.  Rounding out the top finishers in a tie for seventh place at 75 were Justin Waltman, Rea Schuessler and David Pilkington.

A big thank you to Jerry Pate Company’s Wesley Pate and Mike Jersey, along with Club Car, for their tournament sponsorship.  Additionally, thank  you to Camp Creek’s staff and PGA Director of Golf, Sean McGaughey, for hosting a great tournament.
