2022 National PGA Scholarship Winners

The PGA Financial Assistance Fund Scholarship was awarded to five students from the Alabama – NW Florida Section. The scholarship was open to high school and college students with at least a 3.4 cumulative unweighted GPA. Students must also be a child or grandchild of a PGA Member in good standing.

There were 185 scholarships totaling $400,000 awarded to students across the country. In the Alabama – NW Florida Section, three scholarship recipients were graduating high school seniors and the other two were in college.

This year, applicants were no longer required to submit ACT and SAT scores. A resume portion of the application replaced the standardized test score section. The resume component evaluated the applicants’ community service, volunteer activities, and work experience.
