The Alabama NW Florida Section PGA’s Special Awards Committee is thrilled to unveil the 2021 Award Honorees.
Headlining the group, David Pilkington, PGA Head Golf Professional at Pensacola Country Club has received the Golf Professional of the Year Award in 2021.
Joining David in the 2021 Special Awards class are:
- Assistant Professional of the Year: Jordan Debonis, PGA | The Ledges
- Teacher of the Year: Craig Bocking, PGA | The Ledges
- Professional Development Award: Paul Whitman, PGA | Pine Tree Country Club
- Bill Strausbaugh Award: Ed Davis, PGA | Frank House GC
- Player Development Award: Chris Biggins, PGA | The Country Club of Birmingham
- Youth Player Development Award: Bradley Ambler, PGA | Ol’ Colony GC
Merchandisers of the Year include:
- Private – Rob Clark, PGA | The Ledges
- Public – Stephen Worthy, PGA | Gunter’s Landing Club
- Resort – David Watson, PGA | Kiva Dunes
The Section will recognize these individuals at the Section Award’s Dinner on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Wynlakes G&CC. The Section Annual Meeting is the next day, Monday, February 7.
