PELHAM, Ala. (January 7, 2021) – In a year which brought unimaginable loss and heartache for many across the world, these individuals embody what it means to live in hope and go above and beyond the call of duty as a PGA Professional.  The Special Awards Committee is thrilled to unveil the 2020 Class of Honorees.

Headlining the group, Rick Gorman, PGA General Manager at Scenic Hills Country Club in Pensacola, has received the Golf Professional of the Year Award in 2020.  “It is truly an honor to be named Golf Professional of the Year,” says Rick.  “I am elated to share this award with my family, friends and fellow PGA Professionals – it speaks volumes to our golf operations staff and membership here at Scenic Hills.  Thank you to the committee for this outstanding honor.”

A 25-year PGA Member, this is Rick’s first Alabama–NW Florida PGA Section Award.
