In addition to the traditional dinner and education at the Assistants’ Summit, this year, we will be offering an Associate Workshop on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. for Level 1 Associates.
Associates in Level 1 will use the Performance Center at Greystone – Legacy to work on their portfolio in the selected focus areas: Teaching & Coaching and Career Enhancement. This is a limited event, so please register ASAP. There will be a waitlist.

The purpose of the new PGA Learning Strategy is to provide Lifelong Learning around specific career interests to elevate the perception, value propositions and recruitment of PGA Professionals. Thus, the three career paths offered in the PGA Learning Strategy include: Teaching/Coaching, Golf Operations, and Executive Management.
The PGA Specialist Program is an online, career-enhancing educational curriculum that supports the goals of PGA Members who are committed to continuously improving their business and teaching skills to meet the increasing demands of the golf industry.
PGA Members must have at least five years of PGA Membership and five years of relevant working experience in their respective specialization in order to apply for Certified Professional status.
This program is The PGA of America’s highest designation, and is comprised of an extensive project based on the specific certification previously acquired. PGA Professionals must have 10 years of PGA membership to achieve PGA Master Professional status.
