DESCRIPTION:PREMIER PRO-AM SERIES\nThe Premier Pro-Am Series is four Pro-Am’s that will be conducted by the Alabama Chapter over the course of the year. \nEach event will be a 2-Best Balls (1-Gross and 1-Net) of 4-Ball Stroke Play. Same ball can’t count for both gross and net on each hole. \nTeams – 4 person team\, consisting of 1 Alabama – NW Florida PGA Professional & 3 Amateurs. All amateurs must have a verifiable handicap. \nOpen to all Alabama – NW Florida Section Members (A-1 thru A-24\, except A-3’s)\, MP\, Life Members\, and Alabama – NW Florida Section Apprentices who are eligibly employed (B-1 thru B-24). \nNote: All Alabama – NW Florida Section Members or Apprentices must be in good standing. \nChoice of Tees For Amateurs & USGA Handicap Manual 3-5\nAt the Premier Pro-Am Series – any amateur 62 years age or older has the option of playing the Senior Tees at around 5750 to 5950 yards. The Open Tees will be set at around 6400 to 6600 yards. \nPLEASE KEEP IN MIND that players that play the Senior Tees could receive between 2 to 4 less handicap strokes Reasoning behind the reduction can be found in USGA Handicap Manual Rule 3-5 at – http://www.usga.org/content/usga/home-page/Handicapping/handicap-manual.html#!rule-14373 \nPlayers must commit to a set of tees by the Thursday prior to the event.
