On this Junior Tour, we use the motto “Let’s Go Play,” meaning we don’t care where, or who or how — we are all about playing the game we love. We also know that there is no better way to share that love than with a simple invitation. Everyone who plays the game of golf was invited in to the sport in some form or fashion. The AL – NW FL PGA Junior Tour crosses competition with development opportunities for junior golfers of all backgrounds and abilities.
The Junior Tour ultimately aspires to be the most valuable competitive golf experience for juniors in the state of Alabama and the Florida Panhandle. The Tour is designed exclusively to break down barriers to participation in the game of golf through tournament play, and by developing talent to ensure participants are ready to ascend to higher ranks in the sport.
The Alabama – NW Florida PGA Junior Tour is open to all boys and girls between the ages of 10 through 18 that reside in the state of Alabama or the Florida Panhandle (west of Apalachicola).
The Tour conducts approximately 20 to 25 tournaments every summer across the state of Alabama and the Florida Panhandle.
Each junior competing in the Alabama – NW Florida PGA Junior Tour will be required to sign up for a yearly membership at a cost of $50. When a junior registers for the Tour they will receive a welcome packet along with a membership gift. Each event will cost $35 to play in and the yearly membership allows each junior to compete in as many events as they so choose.
Registration for the 2021 Junior Tour Season will open in early spring.

In addition to serving junior golfers across our Section, the Tour also supports the Alabama – NW Florida Golf Foundation, the 501(c)(3) charitable arm of the PGA Section. The Foundation exists to positively impact the lives of those who reside in the state of Alabama and the Florida Panhandle through community outreaches, programs and initiatives the game of golf provides.
